On my way home from a concert late one evening, I happened to look into the underground parking lot at the local Target store and I really felt the feeling of emptiness and desertion. This was the perfect setting for a moody black and white image.

Small town business districts are always unique and always fun to wander around photographing. Just before Christmas, this street lined with the remnants of a recent snowfall.
I really enjoy going out to photograph with my daughter and she had an architecture assignment for a class so I went along. We were on the campus of the University of Wisconsin right before sunset. The smooth silver exterior of this building was reflecting a great tone and the contrast with the shadows was amazing.
